How much sweeter of a face can you possibly find, she is captivating. The Victorian celluloid cover is in very good condition, no cracking, lifting or significant flaws. There are small inconspicuous chips at the corners, a little bump at the top edge that has not damaged the celluloid and scratches are seen when tipped just right to the light, these small flaws could easily go unnoticed. The original hardware is complete and sound and the gold gilt to the exterior of the pages is intact. The outer shell and binding is covered with Victorian fabric that matches the color of her bonnet and as you can see, it has lost it's nap but remains damage free and firmly attached with no problems at the binding. There are several photos remaining in the 14 pages and the photo frames are well decorated with trailing roses. There are the usual tears and wears at the photo slots, a little creative mending might be in order. Measuring 10 1/4 by 8 1/2 inches and is fairly thick and heavy, it will carry your 4 by 6 photographs, the last two pages will hold the smaller size. This is a charming Victorian album that you will cherish for another 100 years. Item 5-210 E Sold, Thank You! Make an Offer We Have More Celluloid Photo Albums & Boxes
