The box is wonderful and in very fine vintage condition, well kept with very minor wear. The celluloid top is nearly pristine and I really like the subtle old world color theme, like a vintage photograph. All of the hardware is complete and sound. The exterior of the box is supported with a lovely leafy pattern, as shown, with barely any losses to the paper or coloring. The cover is signed and copyright dated 1897 by the Carbon Studio of N. J. and Published by the Alfred S. Campbell Art Co, Elizabeth, N. J., how delightful to acquire a signed box. The interior is basically clean and well kept with a brighter than shown red papered bottom and a bold pink satin lined top, all looking original and secure. Measuring 8 1/8 inches by 5 3/4 wide by 3 inches tall, this box offers good size for your dresser top as well as character and graceful appeal.
