I am sorry that I could not get the teal tone to show well in the photos, some may say it is bluish, another may say grayish, it looks sort of slate bluish to me. Except for a small dot of something on the outer right side, I find no faults with this vanity box, the celluloid is in marvelous condition, no cracking, crazing or nasty problems. The interior pale pink satin lining is intact, no tearing, showing age appropriate use and is represented well in my photo, perhaps a gentle cleaning would likely benefit the interior. 
The original clasp is brighter and brassy gold in tone, is secure, all hinges are in good working order. The box measures nearly 12 inches by 2 1/2 in height and nearly 3 1/2 in depth. This lovely, sturdy glove box will brighten your Victorian boudoir, it's pretty, in pink, quite attractive. It will arrive in what is considered wonderful antique condition.
