There is a small spot at the base of the glass bowl. It looks like a very small impressed circle (not like a burn mark) that has discolored over the years but I dare not mess with it because there is no cracking or lifting, the celluloid appears complete, shiny, stable and the integrity of the album has not been compromised. The coloring is very pleasant on this album, just seems so warm and cozy to me, but I am partial to pansies. Victorian velvet covers the remainder of the exterior with much of the nap remaining. It is secure, bright and clean without problems, showing the usual expected edge wear for it's over 100 years of age. The brass hardware is complete, secure and in solid working order. A fair amount of gold gilt continues to highlight the outer page edges. The binding is maintaining it's strength and holding the 12 pages as it should. The interior picture frames are very nicely stenciled, very fine condition. Many pages never used, I note only a few tears and one piece of slot paper missing. They will hold your 4 by 6 photos, the last two pages are for smaller pictures. This album measures 10 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches wide and is a wonderful antique treasure for your photos of family or friends.... and oh what a great gift. Item 5-324 G Sold, Thank You!
