Carol, The Whiting Davis mesh purse arrived and
it is SIMPLY WONDERFUL
!!! It is one of the ultra-classic Whiting Davis Art Deco designs
that everyone recognizes, and yours is a museum quality piece -- just
perfect. All the colors on both sides vibrant, out-of-the-box look to
the enamel finish, and the frame enameling pristine. It is a stunningly
artistic Art Deco design -- multiple colors and a high degree of
structural sophistication integrated so well as to appear naturally
flowing. It is no wonder that it was used to advertise a major Art Deco
show some years back at either the Smithsonian or Museum of Modern Art.
It is truly a delight to look at. Valerie was immediately smitten with it -- both for its design
and color, and for its wonderful condition. You have allowed us to
purchase a real vintage mesh gem, and we will treat it and care for it
as such. Thank you for affording us once again the privilege of

Dear Carol, Today we received two
of your purses, and opening the box was as good as opening a chest of buried
treasure. The Whiting & Davis multi-colored mesh purse is very
beautiful, and unique in Valerie's collection of metal mesh. The French
Piecrust Purse is beyond just beautiful -- it is exquisitely beautiful and
extraordinary. Besides being very desirable as an antique, it is so
colorful, delightful, and perfect that it cheers us up just to look at it.
Valerie has many wonderful finds, but your Piecrust purse has now become the
prize of her entire collection. "Scott, it's just BEAUUUUUUUUTIFUL!!!" was
her immediate response. She was so happy!! And she now cherishes it above
all other purses in her collection. Since receiving it this afternoon, she
keeps taking it out over and over again to look at just one more time. It
is appropriate that this particular purse is called "Piecrust", because it
really does look good enough to eat. It is a delight to look at and hold in
one's hands. Thank you for all your efforts in fringe restoration, item
description, photography, and professional (and patient) business
correspondence, that ultimately led to our being able to have a real
treasure. As I sit here writing this, Valerie is sitting here beside me
looking at the purse. Thank you, thank you, for everything. You are

Hello Carol,
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for the very good packing
of my white beaded purse and micro petite point cigarette case, both are
very lovely.
I really love the white beaded purse for its size, pattern of white
beads and the tiny stitches, it is so cute!! I am so pleased with all
the tiny tiny beads of this purse which give a very defined pattern and
structure of this purse. I love the frame very much too which is in simple
design but is detailed since all the white, gold beads and pearl seeds are
so tiny. You have done a great job for fixing the white enamel missing
strips with white enamel paint. Condition of this purse is great except for
some tiny white beads loss, thought it can't be avoided for its age....
overall I give a 90+ marks out of 100, and this is the second white beaded
purse I will treasure and love, I will love this one the same way as the
porcelain discs purse, they are so great!!!!!!!!!! Thought I can only get
this kind of lovely treasures from you! I'm also interested in perfume
bottles. Yala, talk more soon! Cheers.

Receiving a handbag through the post from you, Carol, is like sitting with you
in your home, and discussing it all with you face to face. First there are your
