My photos are very good and represent this hand mirror well but of course, it is much nicer in person. The hand enameling, which I believe is on porcelain but could be glass, is so different than what I usually find, I tried to show a close-up of it so you could see how it is raised up in several areas, adding deep dimension to the peaceful waterfront scene. The color palette is quite pleasing with an array of blues, greens, browns, rustic and earth tones, very pretty presentation and very well executed. 
 The golden brassy toned frame and handle are gorgeous, cleaned, bright and polished. The detailing is stunning with intricate embossed florals and designs reminiscent of the Victorian era. The original beveled mirror is clear and nearly pristine, just a little scratching, as to be expected. This hand mirror measures 9 & 1/4 in length and has a 5 inch viewing surface. The condition is superb, no dents, wear, damage or apologies, it's absolutely fabulous. This is a terrific antique hand mirror, it will brighten your vanity and your every day.
