The porcelain back is eloquently portraying a colorful garden view with lavender sterling roses. Amidst the florals is a beautiful woman, dressed in period clothing, being attended by a Victorian celestial cherub. The color palette is enchanting, very pretty with lots of pleasant pastel shades around the bright white background. The transfer decoration is well positioned and in very fine condition, barely a tiny scratch, certainly not offensive. My photos do a nice job of expressing this antique treasure and I'm showing you lots of photos so you can make your own judgment about this fabulous dresser hand mirror. 
 The golden brassy Victorian embossed rim and handle are stunning, secure and strong. The deeply scalloped border and detailing is reminiscent of the era and include some blended Art Nouveau designs. The condition of the metal is superb, I see no dents or problems and everything has been cleaned and polished to the best of my ability, no 100+ years of hand grime, just a few slightly darker spots in the deeper crevices. The mirror offers a perfectly clear image along with a wide bevel at the edge. There is nothing standard about this hand mirror except it's size of 9 & 1/4 in length by 5 inches in width.
