My photos are showing a very good depiction of the colors, theme and character of this vanity hand mirror, please excuse any light reflections. There are several shades of purple and lavender on the violets as well as very detailed multi green leaves. The bright golden brass tone framing and handle are exquisite, looking as if heavily gold gilded and barely used, very secure and sturdy. The handle is embossed with those lovely Victorian roses and has very little tarnish or signs of wear. I did clean a few spots but overall, I acquired it in stunning condition. It is a wonderful example that you are sure to adore and love using every day. 
 The original beveled mirror is exceptionally good for it's over 100 years of age, nice and clear, just a couple of minor scratches. This antique hand mirror measures the standard 5 inches across the viewing surface by a little over 9 inches in length. I find no significant faults with this piece, no denting, no obvious wear, no apologies. If violets are your choice of flower, please consider this beautiful porcelain backed hand mirror, it's outstanding. I know it will look superb amongst your favorite vanity treasures.
