I picked up a few light reflections in some of my photos but the color tones are showing fairly accurate in my photos. Hand painted violets are in a strong plum purple with additional lavender tones. The bouquet is striking, I've offered many floral sets through the years but these violets are so charming and I have been searching for this set for a long while. I am very pleased to have found it and in such wonderful condition. Although I did not take this set apart, I have no doubt this set was made in France by the William Guerin Factory of Limoges and their back stamp is likely on the rear of the porcelain. I have found their mark many times on sets that have these exact styled handles. Under magnification, the artwork appears to be hand painted, as I can detect some brush strokes. The artwork is in very fine condition, it took a magnifying glass to find any slight imperfections. The porcelain backs are in damage free condition and are very secure to their metal framing and have a slightly domed shape. Overall, this turn of the 1900 hand mirror and brush set is in exceptional condition with really no complaints or negatives.  
The rims and handles are my favorite style, extremely Victorian looking with highly detailed embossed decorations and roses. The outer rims are especially attractive and the metal is showing well in my photos. The handles are delightful. The pieces are clearly marked German Silver (nickel silver), another favorite of mine, which allowed me to polish them up to resemble sterling silver, as best as I could. The metal work is divine, having no dents or distortions that I have noticed. The original beveled mirror is in extremely good condition, showing a clear image and very little signs of aging or usage. I show a photo of my dining light fixture for clarity sake. The original natural bristle brush is very full and in much better than normally found condition, probably didn't get used, but at it's age, I advertised it for decorative use only. There is nothing standard about this hand mirror save for it's size, approx. 9¼ in length with a 5 inch viewing surface and the brush is proportionately a little smaller.
