I wish my photos did this gorgeous purse justice but they are only good enough for you to get a wonderful idea of how really terrific this handbag is. This hand knitted beauty is comprised of only two colors, as shown, but what you will not see in the photos is the thick pale pink background threading that gives this purse a pinkish sheen throughout the silver beadwork. You may be able to detect this feature from the second photo. This pale pink tone casts a lovely tint to this dynamic purse. The blue background color is showing reasonably well in most photos, except photo #3, both colors there are not showing well. 
 The classic Art Nouveau frame is the perfect crown for this handbag. It has a lovely raised embossed design, the floral garland spans the frame's edge and the center wreath will accept your initial, if desired. The sew holes are completely covered with a clear bead that has gold emitting from the interior of the bead. I have checked everything, all aspects of the purse are secure, nothing loose, missing or showing wear. The interior of the frame is signed Silver Plated and overall, the frame is delightful, clean and polished to the best of my abilities. 
 The original interior lining is a Victorian black satin that looks and feels like kid leather, it had me fooled until I did a test spot for cleaning. The lining is accented with hand stitched beadwork, the same golden beads that trim the exterior of the frame, all intact, secure and original. The lining has a little fading to the depth of the color but nothing naughty and no rips, tears or wear. The bottom of this purse is complimented with long fully intact fringes, in the same blue and silver beading. Measurements are as follows: 7 & 1/4 across the frame, 7 across the hinges, 10 & 1/4 from the clasp to the bottom, fringes are 2 & 1/2 inches and the rather strong chain handle drops 4 & 1/4 inches. The condition of this superb purse is nothing short of spectacular, no bead loss, tears, wears, repairs or stains, it's really everything you would want in an antique scenic beaded purse.
