From the renowned artist Walter Wilson, we offer this stunning 9 piece cake set all hand painted in his recognized style with primroses as the theme. The artwork is superb and the flowers, on a creamy ivory background, are a bit deeper in tone, crisper and prettier than would actually show. The condition is wonderful, I find no damage or significant signs of use, perhaps they have just been admired from grandma's china cabinet. The open handled cake plate is unmarked and measures 9 5/8 inches at it's widest, the eight cake plates are 6 3/8 each and I almost missed the word Japan on one plate. This charming and elegant cake set is the perfect compliment for your hand painted china collection, decorated by a highly esteemed and talented artisan.

This demitasse cup and saucer is very early, delicate thin porcelain and lovingly hand painted. Artist chose excellent coloring and porcelain mold, very cute with cup sitting on six little feet measuring only 1 3/4 inches tall by 2 inches at the mouth, saucer is proportionate, an adorable petit size. Please enjoy this lovely antique hand painted bowl with artist's initials and graceful artwork. The light weight tells it's early age, pre-1900 porcelain, as does the artwork on the backside of the bowl, typically only the older pieces were painted in this fashion. The scalloped detail to the edge and scrolling gold gilt highlights are further evidence of it's wonderful age. Measuring 8 1/4 in diameter and standing 2 inches tall, this piece was decorated with love and lots of shading, you'll find it in great vintage condition, showing no signs of wear, a beautiful and functional serving piece for your dinnerware.

This adorable vintage cake or pie spatula will be the perfect table accessory for your next special dinner. Lovingly hand painted in lavender roses, artist initialed and dated 1954, you will receive it in gorgeous condition, surely never used. This cute serving piece measures approx. 9 inches long and tapers up to 2 1/2 inches wide. I haven't seen or found but a couple of these through the years, this ones a cutie pie, order it today, it's darling.

This vintage oil and vinegar cruet set, ca. 1962, is one reason I enjoy contemporary hand painted porcelain (50 years old or younger). Occasionally an unusual Item comes along that you don't see in antique porcelain and you don't see many cruet sets. This set is painted with soft pink roses, pale greenery and touches of baby blue with splashes of background color here and there about the set, all on soft white. Under magnification you will find that a firing flaw is evident on the bottom edge of one piece but the painter decorated over it and continued on with the glazing process. Measuring 7 3/4 inches tall by 2 1/8 across the mid point, this set comes complete with original stoppers, all fitting as they should. This cruet set will dress up your table accessories quite nicely.

First time I've ever had two pairs of matching, hand painted, salt and pepper sets, each slightly different, attributing to their individuality. Forget-me-nots are the theme, the set on the left shows a bit more blue at the top, the set on the right shows a bit more lavender in the artwork, both are artist signed and well painted. A nice addition for your table setting, measuring 3 inches tall, they are quite adorable. If you desire only one set, please state which one in your description.
