Truly the most desired of all the woods, solid
Tiger Maple,
expertly hand turned, completely smoothed out with age,
bowl has stunning figure with vivid Tiger graining throughout,
larger than normal size of 16 by 15½ and generously deep,
this 80 to 100 year old vintage treasure was the "prized bowl"
in a New York collection of old New England woodenware,
this bowl was used for dough making, no chopping marks,
a little discolor in the interior bottom from normal use,
a tiny upper rim hairline that took me several days to notice,
this bowl is mesmerizing, difficult to stop staring at it,
so few of these Tiger bowls exist, grab it while it's available,
gorgeous, investment quality condition, no abuse.
