Another wonderful French beaded and Tambour eye
glass holder, this time in black with Pointe de Beauvais stitches in earth tones
and a bit of blue.

fun to acquire, this one and the white one come from the same fabulous private

I couldn't be more pleased with it's condition and my photos are showing the colors very well. The tiny micro glass black beads cover the entire eye glass holder, in the sleeve form. Opens at the end for slipping in your eye glasses. I find not one bead missing, at least not that I can notice. No snags either, stains or other problems. It's really a lovely vanity or purse accessory for that much needed touch of elegance. 
 The interior is lined in black satin and has the remains of a designer stamp. I can't quite make it all out but I do clearly see the word Paris, of course, it is hand made in France. Both sides of this eye glass holder are identical and the design is quite pleasing. It measures nearly 6½ in length by 3 inches in width, a roomy sleeve for a larger set of glasses. Both interior and exterior are well kept and clean with no significant age or damage, just one tiny snag on the interior lining. The last photo shows the two eye glass holders that come from this estate, how lovely they are, each having their own special charm.
