You'll find this bottle is hand painted, all around, with pink roses and delicate greenery trailing up the neckline. The background color is a pleasant shade of blue and there is also some pale yellowy ivory shading here and there about the roses. The artwork is quite beautiful and sure to please. The shape of the bottle is very similar and characteristic to many other Limoges bottles I have offered, with it's tall regal neck and shapely squatty base. I estimate the bottle to be from the early 1900's, I couldn't get a clear photo of the bottom but it is nicely ground as is common on the finer made porcelain pieces. The top of the bottle and it's original stopper are accentuated in gold gilt, showing minor signs of aging, little if any wear or rubbing. The stopper sits steady into the bottle and notice the shape of the stopper, intended to replicate the shape of the bottle, what a delightful trait. This fabulous antique porcelain perfume bottle measures 6⅜ in total height by 3¼ at it's widest and sits steady on a 2 inch diameter base. The condition is damage free, no crack or chip, overall excellent vintage condition. If pink roses are your desired flower, please consider adding this very attractive vintage perfume bottle to your vanity accessories or giving it as a considerate gift.
