The bottle is a good quality clear glass in a somewhat oval scalloped shape and has a ten panel form, tapering towards the bottom, very elegant and stylish. The brass work is outstanding and depicts some marvelous details to include roses, leaves, fleur-de-lis and lattice. I'm showing you plenty of good photos to adequately judge this perfume bottle as being worthy to grace your dresser or vanity top. The brass casing on the body of the bottle is fitted with wonderful faceted bezel set glass stones, all secure and in excellent condition. Colors are various shades of amethyst, amber citrine, emerald green, light cobalt blue and the larger center stone is more of a turquoise, all extremely beautiful and radiant. The screw on stopper is a work of art in itself, having an abundance of matching sculpted brass roses and ribbons, a very pretty and appropriate top for this lovely bottle. The stopper fits snugly, as it should, and maintains it's original glass dauber, all in good shape. However, you must remember to pull the stopper straight up and out of the bottle, as to not break and snap off the dauber. The backside of the bottle is just as stunning, with coordinating brass work, all in extensive detail and decorative elements. My photos are perfect and show you exactly what to expect to receive.
The bottom of the bottle is acid etched, made in Germany, how delightful to find this bottle signed. It is a tad bit difficult to see but when tipped to the light, you can clearly detect it and I was able to capture a photo of it. There is also another word, most likely the company name, but I cannot decipher the word. This striking German brass and jeweled perfume bottle measures about 7¼ inches in height by 3⅛ in width (side to side) by 2½ in depth (front to back). It is in overall desireable and superb condition, no real flaws to mention and no issues with the stones. I have looked them over closely with a magnifier. You can tell they are made of old glass, as they even have the occasional straw marks like old glass would have. The last photo shows the bottle with a vintage Czech perfume bottle, being offered separately. Thank you for admiring this German bottle, I know you will enjoy owning it, as it brightens up your vanity with class and distinction.
