It is such a rare piece that I was more than happy to place it back into my inventory and offer it to you once again. All stitched in micro petit point with a different scene on each side, this is the only one of these dual sided petit point coin purses that I have ever seen, they are indeed rare. This one is saturated in colors, some of the deeper ruby tones are not showing well. I do believe some of the coloring may be a bit stronger than what is showing, I didn't want to show this piece crisper than it is, nonetheless, my photos are very good and detail the scenes well. I do want to show you all the angles so you can judge this beauty as a deserving piece to add to your treasury of goodies. These 2 photos show each side of the purse, garden scenes that include in-depth workmanship and talent of the highest degree, exhibiting architectural designs, an abundance of nature, florals and mountain views. The sky is a combination of ecru and cream tones and there appears to be a lake or pond in the central areas. The colors are the full spectrum of the rainbow and overall, this purse is priceless. The gold frame is bright and engraved on all surfaces. The lining is secure and clean but is starting to show some fray, as shown. Overall, this purse is clean, damage free and in excellent vintage condition, measuring a wee 2¾ in total height by 3 inches at it's widest and the outer band is only ¼ of an inch, it's a nice small early one, it's been well cared for, you will be thrilled to add it to your cherished trophies.
