As you can see the petit point stitches are small and tightly hand stitched, the bright and cheerful floral display is presented on an antiqued ivory background. Both sides of this coin holder are identical and in totally gorgeous condition. My photos represent this vintage treasure very well, the tones are crisp and lively. The purse is secure and snug to the brassy toned frame, the clasp closes as it should.
The outer side is exhibiting a complimentary floral border and all is secured with an ivory piping. The interior is lined with a white cotton and is in clean, well kept condition, as is the entire purse, looking unused. I find no label on this 1940's piece but I am quite sure it was made in Austria, as most of these petit point pieces were. This lovely creation measures 3 in height by 4 & 1/2 in width, the outer border is 3/4 of an inch in depth. This vintage petit point change purse is in splendid condition, little is any signs of aging. I know you will appreciate this work of art and treasure it for years to come.
