This 1930 beaded creation is simply splendid in every way and I am delighted to report that it has been so very well cared for. The tightly beaded pattern on this purse is fascinating and the colors are appealing to the eye, oh so feminine indeed. The intensely rich soft pastel tones include, multi pinks, pale sky blues and light lavenders all on a mixed background of white and ivory beading. The intricate pattern has raised puffy beading, adding depth of character, and is generously outlined with bright and sparkling gold French steel beads, resulting in an hypnotic visual effect. You will be delighted with this charming beauty. The gold tone frame is a treat to look at with it's matching beadwork and it's exquisite paisley design in Champlevé enamel workmanship. It seems that the French were the most talented at mastering this art of enameling and this purse frame exemplifies that ability very well. The pull tab is coordinated with the frame and lifts up to open the purse. Overall, the frame is in fine vintage condition and it closes nice and snugly. I see no wear at all to the enameling and no bead loss, in fact, the entire handbag is in fabulous condition.
This marvelous and super chic French evening bag has a distinct radiance, the design is stunning, you will enjoy carrying this elegant accessory. The interior has a lovely light beige satin lining with dual pockets and a lipstick slot. This purse has been professionally cleaned for your future enjoyment, it carries only a scent of freshness and there remains very little if any discolor on the lining. I found a small, made in France, label inside the pocket and will sew it back on for you. Stuffed with tissue, this handbag measures 5 in height by 8½ in width, the side depth is 1¾ inches and the chain handle drops 5 inches. This is a superb vintage French beaded and enameled evening bag, it is in wonderful, damage free condition, consider this one quickly before it is gone.
