The inverted pyramid shapes are well depicted on a luscious rich lavender background color. This lovely and rarely seen shade is enhanced with deep purple, green, orange and chocolate brown, all arranged in a unique design. The small tiles are all intact as is the enamel paint. The only loss, that is hard to detect, is where the hinge rubbed the tile and that is only on one side of the purse, you will find it if you pull the tiles away and look up under the hinge, otherwise the enameling is perfect. The bottom of this terrific handbag is finished with a seven point Van Dyke fringe. The silver toned frame is quite delightful. The shape is unique, somewhat like a step down arched shape, giving a touch of Art Deco to an otherwise Art Nouveau design. The pierced and open metal work is stunning and the center Nouveau floral is a striking compliment. This fabulous example measures 7 in overall length by 4 across the frame and the chain handle drops 5 inches. This mesh purse is clean, enamel is shiny and the metal is bright. The interior is unlined and maintains the little dangling Whiting & Davis metal tag, as shown. This is a great mesh purse in superior condition, well kept and structurally perfect, you will be pleased. Item 7-630 C Sold,
