Close inspection shows this accessory to be in original condition and clearly patent dated on the interior of the frame, July 22, 1913. All mesh is attached as it should be, no weaknesses are detected. Overall, the silver tones are bright with minimal tarnishing, very fine for a purse of this age. It has been well kept in an Ohio collection along with several other of our current offerings. The cathedral frame is fully signed and quite sturdy, more than enough weight to support the mesh purse. The clasp is enhanced with a blue glass jewel, photo shows the wreath styled enclosure well. The braided mesh handle is wonderful and slides up and down the sides of the frame as needed. Three little balls hang from the bottom, one in the center and on each side. This purse is unlined and measures 7 3/4 inches long by 2 3/4 across the hinges, the skirt flairs to 4 inches the the handle has a 5 inch drop. The purse is in great condition, the perfect gift for the collector. Item 4-109 M3 Sold, Thank You!
