The mark has not been found but could very well be hidden behind the lining, as it is snugly stitched to the frame's edge. The use of color is spectacular, the scene is repeated on both sides. My photos express the nature of this purse very well. The gold tone frame is quite interesting, crowned with a gold twisted border encircling pierced flowers and leaves that are encrusted with marcasites, how very charming. This design is exquisite and adds 1/2 inch of dimension to an already superb work of art. The satin lining has it's label, two large pockets and the original change purse. The interior has a few small discolors from use but this purse has been well care for and the exterior is in very fine vintage condition, no problems with the stitching, no stains, no significant signs of age, just a really beautiful purse. It measures larger than average at 7 1/4 in height by 8 1/2 in width, 3/4 inch to the outer perimeter depth and the twisted gold chain drops over 5 1/2 inches. This vibrant scenic micro petit point purse will be a welcomed addition to your favorite wardrobe accessories, perfect for a night at the opera.
