The artist exhibits a great deal of talent, not only in the presentation of the flowers but also in the surrounding decorative shadings. The larger tray has a slight kidney shape and is marked on the backside with the three star Plainemaison Limoges Factory back stamp, used between the 1890's and 1910. The artist was thoughtful to sign their work on the little matching pin tray, B. Ochiltree. I acquired this set from an Ohio auction where several pieces have this signature, perhaps the artist was from that region of the country. The small tray also carries the A K D Klingenberg Limoges underglaze white ware mark used between the 1890's and 1910. The pin tray is adorable and measures 4¼ in length by 3 inches in width. If blue is your favored color tone, you will enjoy this set each day of your life. It's darling, very attractively decorated and in perfect, damage free condition, looks like it's been packed away for decades. Item 8-321 B Sold, Thank You!
