Antique Porcelain Dresser Set Vanity Accessories

<<<< Back to Vanity Items and Porcelain Dresser Pieces

Please enjoy this lovely assortment of antique vanity pieces. This hand painted dresser set is artist signed and well decorated.

The artist was creative and chose their blanks from various countries as is common during that era.

How exciting to have added a pair of French Limoges candlesticks from Bernardaud & Co.  Although that mark was used between 1900 and 1914, the artist painted this set and signed it, Leonard, in 1917.  The powdery blue and soft ivory backdrop is perfect for the sweet trailing forget-me-nots.  The pair measures 4 1/2 tall by 3 1/4 at the base and tapers from 1 1/4 to 1 inch at the upper neck.  The gold gilded tops offer a nice touch of elegance and they show just a little minor wear.

The hair receiver continues to be a must have piece and this one comes from Gerard, Dufraisseix, and Abbot, a well known French Limoges company.  This matched piece is signed and dated as shown.  It measures 3 1/4 tall by 4 inches wide and is painted with the same lovely tones as the remainder of the set.  The gold gilded borders show just a little wear.

The pin tray is Nippon and has the rising sun mark, the artist was thoughtful to add this piece at a later time, it is dated 1919 as shown.  The same decorative tones apply to this antique piece of porcelain and it measures at 5 1/2 diagonally by 3 1/4 inches  wide.  The last photo shows the set with it's matching perfume bottle which is available but selling separately.  If you would like to keep all the pieces together, talk to me and I'll work out a better price for you.  These antique vanity treasures are quite wonderful and will delight any vintage porcelain collector.
