Although this hand turned bowl has worn smooth with age, I do believe it did, at one time, have more of a Beehive shape. It does, however, continue to maintain some remnants of it's original old paint or stain. There is still some of the red tones to the upper defined rim and a greenish reddish tinge to the lower exterior. There is a small hole toward the top that was used for hanging the bowl. My photos are excellent and show all of the charm and personality of this primitive small creation. The condition is remarkable, no cracks or damages of any kind. The light weight wood has warm multi brown tones. This little darling measures out of round at 9¼ by 8⅞ and sits level at varying heightss up to 4 inches. This bowl has good depth and will serve well in many ways. It will also add of touch of uniqueness to your antique primitive collection of Americana workmanship.
