This hand painted, covered casserole carries the J&C Trianon Bavaria back stamp, ca. 1902, this
uniquely painted piece features two medium sized butterflies on the cover, which are painted on a creamy background, butterflies are in browns, yellows and greens and are
surrounded by beautiful pink roses, green leaves and thorny branches on a nice blue border. The bottom of the casserole matches but has no butterflies, the handles are
covered in gold. Except for a couple of tiny, minor, specks of missing pink paint, not noticeable or offensive, this piece is excellent and very unusual for the butterfly
lover.
