Each is porcelain backed, one showing violets, the other apple blossoms and each measures 5 1/2 by nearly 1 1/2 inches wide. The natural bristles are considerably very clean, I show you a picture with them against a child's hair brush so you can see that the bristle are quite a bit longer, most people think these are hair brushes. The German Silver frames and handles are very nice, maintaining their gold gilt well, you may be able to detect a small dent on the handle of the apple blossom one on the right, not naughty at all. Otherwise they are is excellent condition and how fun to add two to your collection of children's treasures from the past.
