You can see that she is quite confident in her pose, certainly not shy. There is a wonderful border of raised embossed detail and flowers around the scene, the hardware is complete and overall the album is in very nice used condition, measuring 10 1/4 inches by 8 1/4 by nearly 2 inches thick. The first picture shows the mellow ivory background shades and the 2nd photo shows the pale pink roses in the background. It was hard to get all the colors to show properly, I apologize for the occasional glare. The back and spine are covered in Victorian cut velvet with some nap wear at the spine and corners but mostly the velvet is very nice and well kept. The spine is fine and the celluloid is in good condition with one corner bruise as shown and a couple other inconspicuous flaws, nothing too naughty. The celluloid is secure, no fading, lifting or peeling. The interior has darkened with age as is common with many of the 100+ year old albums, has the usual slot tears and one page that will need a some extra decorative attention, nothing you can't handle. The pages are dressed with coordinating green tinting and more lily of the valley. Thirteen pages will hold 26 of your 4 x 6 photos and the last two pages will hold 16 of the smaller size. I think you'll find this charming album quite intriguing and alluring. Item 1-1113 D $385.00 On Lay-a-way Place Order via Email We Have More Celluloid Albums & Boxes
