The top and bottom of the scene is flanked by an embossed floral design and overall this album is in terrific condition showing minimal scratches to the cover and barely noticeable corner chipping. The original velvet spine and back are wonderful, minor age related wear, hardly visible. The interior 12 stenciled pages have the usual slot tears on at least half the pages and some age discoloration along the exterior edges of most pages. 
This antique celluloid photograph album measures 10 1/4 by 8 1/4 inches wide. This lovely piece maintains it's original hardware in good working order. It's a beautiful album that would add character and depth to any Victorian decor or collection.
