She is lovely and dressed in her period clothing. There is no apparent scratching to the cover, a little to the backside, overall, very well preserved and cared for. The brass tone hardware is in solid working order and the pages retain most of the wonderful gold gilt outer edges. 
The binding is secure and wrapped with the original brown corduroy, all in nice vintage condition. The 12 interior pages show the expected age wear and some tearing but nothing a little loving attention couldn't mend. Measuring 10 1/4 by 8 1/4, this album will hold your 4 by 6 photos, the last two pages are for the smaller size. This very fine example of a Victorian celluloid photo album will find a comfortable place amongst your family heirlooms.
