This Dresden German cake pedestal is simply divine and exhibits near perfection showing very little wear, certainly no damage, excellent condition.  The pierced porcelain outer edge and foot is gorgeously dressed with a sumptuous puffy dimensional floral display.  Bold and vibrant hand painted colors abound throughout the piece as well as generous use of gold borders and scrolling highlights, please excuse the dark reflections in the wide gold band.  Sitting 5 3/4 inches tall by 10 across the top and standing on a nearly 4 1/2 inch base, this all one piece antique Dresden pedestal is just exceptional.  You will adore it's style and character, it is absolutely stunning and will receive lots of compliments, a magnificent choice for the Dresden collector, worthy of consideration.

From Germany comes this antique sauce bowl and under plate exhibiting a marvelous leaf shaped floral puffy mold.  The delicately decorated thin porcelain is further enhanced with gold gilt and pierced handles, all in undamaged condition.   It's obvious that this duo is quite early, ca. 1885 - 1900 and sports colors such as maroon, pink, salmon, green and white.  Measuring as follows: bowl stands alone at 2 1/8 high and spans 5 5/8 by 4 5/8 wide, under plate is 7 1/4 by 6 inches wide.   You'll find many uses for this antique dinnerware service set at your next family get-together.
