I have never seen a dual portrait scene, nothing like this before, and I have sold hundreds of these vanity hand mirrors. The transfer decoration, on a white background, has pleasant colors of multi greens, teal, blues, light lavender and several other soft tones. The portraits are surrounded by nature, very serene. Although there are no damages to the porcelain itself, there are several scratches of varying degree to the portraits and these are well shown in my photos. Even though there is a little more wear on the paint than I prefer, I could not resist the opportunity to acquire a rare dual portrait hand mirror. The brass rim and handle are secure and strong, embossed in a classic Art Nouveau design, all clean. The original mirror has a nice clear image along with a small spot of edge discolor and a couple of scratches, really very good. Measurements are standard at 9 & 1/4 in length by 5 in width. This would make a great gift from mother to daughter, or vise versa.
