I have acquired dozens of these hand mirror over the years but I have never seen this illustration before. It is quite unique, I would imagine rare. My photos are showing you very well what you should expect. This celestial damsel is beautiful, with flowing hair and dressed in almost see through attire. Sprays and bouquet of roses are about the portrait as well as ribbons and her yellow draped shawl. The transfer decoration is in nice condition with strong coloring. The moon and stars are in gold gilt and show just a little normal wear from age. 
 I have cleaned and polished the silver toned handle and framing. It is made of German Silver and did have a gold gilt wash at one time but now is primarily silver with gold showing mainly in the deeper crevices as shown. The handle is adorned with a Victorian cherubs face. I see my photos reflected my red shirt but the metal is free of that color. The original beveled mirror is nice and clear but when you pull it away and tilt it, you will see that the outer perimeter is beginning to show some fogging, although you can't see it when looking into the mirror itself. I don't think the mirror needs to be replaced but if you want absolutely perfect, I will be happy to replace it with a newer quality beveled mirror. The size is standard, 5 inch viewing surface, a little over 9 inches in length. This lovely treasure is sure to please and may not be seen again.
