The porcelain is over 100 years old and has a couple of tiny little bubbles that did not get smoothed down enough, will go easily unnoticed and is a common characteristic to antique porcelain. The transfer decoration of huge roses is large and covers most of the porcelain. It is in reasonably nice condition with a few scratches in the very center, I believe you can see them in the 3rd photo. Overall the roses make a fabulous presentation with a cheerful and bright appearance. The golden brassy framing and handle have a classic Art Nouveau embossed design, the handle is very secure but the outer rim does have several dents of varying degree but nothing overly naughty in my opinion. I have cleaned and polished the brass for your enjoyment. The original beveled mirror offers a clear image along with a tad bit of early signs of age, really nothing at all, it offers years or decades of service. Measurements on this treasure: 9 ½ in length with a 5 inch viewing surface. This antique hand mirror has no damages to the porcelain, it has a great beveled mirror and a striking overall appearance. I find no reason not to love this delightful 100 year old hand mirror, if you can handle a few dents on the outer edge of the metal, start enjoying it now, I will put it aside for you, just let me know.
