I do believe this is the very best holly berry
vanity mirror I have ever seen, typically they are transfer decorated but this
one is quite obviously hand painted and the talent of the artist is shining
through. The brush strokes are marvelous, the artwork covers a great
portion of the porcelain, the colors are divine and true to life. There
are some painted white raised highlights throughout, which give added depth and
dimension to the decorated subject matter. My photos are very good and show
exactly what you should expect to receive. The artwork is in very
fine excellent condition, colors are strong without fading, I can't even find
more than a miniscule scratch to the porcelain back.

This hand mirror is undoubtedly from the Art Nouveau
era, the very late 1800's to the very early 1900's, as is evident from the
deeply embossed Nouveau florals and wonderful scalloped outer rim. I have
cleaned and polished the piece as best as possible, it is gleaming and gorgeous.
I find no denting or problems with the framing, it is sound and secure, you won't be disappointed. The
original beveled mirror shows a very clear image along with some small, early
signs of age to the furthest outer edge, really nothing at all, and one scratch
to the mirror's glass, wonderful for a piece over 100 years old. This
mirror measures the standard at 9¼ inches with a 5 inch viewing
surface. This rare antique porcelain backed, hand painted, vanity dresser hand
mirror will please it's
new owner, offering a theme that gives cause for daily celebration all year long.
It's a must have, let me know and I'll place it aside just for you.
