The all-over artwork is soft and detailed with tiny white flowers on a gorgeous light blue background. I couldn't really get the shade of blue to show exact, it is much prettier in person, you will be delighted with it. The six well tray is also highlighted with curly gold gilt details, heavily gilded handles and the rim is also edged in gold. 
The colors show best in the close-ups but the gold handles are far more deeper in color than would show. The tray measures 9 7/8 in length by 5 1/2 at it's widest. This lovely tray shows no signs of use and very minor loss of gold. Every collection should have at least one egg tray but they are not easy to find, add this one to your treasures today.
