My photos are excellent, showing the colors very well, only I believe these large roses are even more sumptuous in person. The roses have deep and various shades of pinks and burgundies, the leaves and splashes of green on the roses are the perfect artistic touch. The artwork is in nice condition with a little smudging of the paint on one of the lower roses, as shown in the close-up photo. The background tone is pure white, which make the roses pop off the porcelain discs. The porcelain backs are in outstanding condition, no damages, no cracks and barely a scratch to be found. This set is simply delightful and is sure to please you, it's a beautiful and functional set. The original beveled mirror was cracked in several places so I replaced it with an antique quality perfect mirror, it has a bevel at the outer edge, just like the original.  
The brush, although for decorative use only, is a fabulous addition to the hand mirror and is in overall nice condition, showing small expected age and wear to the natural bristles. The rims and handles have a rich golden brass tone and are basically dent free, save for one minute dimple on the rim of the hand mirror. The handles are embossed with those marvelous Victorian roses and I have cleaned and polished this set for your enjoyment, it is splendid and has the finest patina. This hand mirror measures the standard approximate 9¼ in length, it has a 5 inch viewing surface and the brush is proportionately a little smaller. I just know you will admire this vanity mirror and brush set for a very long time and using the hand mirror is a great way to start your day. The set came to me in gorgeous condition, no damages or significant flaws. I know I can depend on you to keep it well preserved but, at the same time, enjoy it for decades to come.
