My photos are very good showing the colors well, only I believe these large roses are prettier in person. The transfer decorated roses have lovely shades of pinks and the green leaves are the perfect finishing touch. The set is in extra nice condition with a little smudging or crackling to the transfer on the leaves of the brush, as shown in the close-up of the brush. The porcelain backs are in excellent condition, no damages, no cracks and barely a scratch to be found. This set is simply delightful and is sure to please you, it's a beautiful and functional set. The original beveled mirror has a nice useable image but shows very early signs of streaking. I can see it in the daytime lighting, but at night, I can't see it at all. The mirror is still serviceable, but you want perfect, I can replace it with a quality beveled mirror just like the original.  
The brass tone frames and handles are dent free, sound and secure, much better than many I find. The handle is embossed with those marvelous Victorian roses and I have cleaned and polished this set for your enjoyment, no nasty hand grime, nice and clean. The natural brush bristles are set into a wood base and are complete. They are showing their expected aging but the brush is a fabulous decorative accessory. This hand mirror measures the standard 9¼ in length, it has a 5 inch viewing surface and the brush is proportionate. I just know that you will admire this vanity mirror and brush set for a very long time and using the hand mirror is a great way to start your day.
