Morabito of Paris, France, an elusive designer of vintage purses, has created this most deserving evening purse. The abundant shades in the petit point are stunning and span the full spectrum of color. The center arena is lush with roses as well as a complete floral display. The outer perimeter is decorated in the same detailing with a smaller version on the backside. The exterior of this handbag is in very fine condition and wonderfully clean both inside and out, with no apparent damages or discolors. The frame is equally as lovely with matching petit point but the center of the frame, where the lift tab is, shows a bit of natural dulling to the petit point from normal handling. This is not offensive in my opinion, nor does it distract in the least. The framing to this purse looks like a quality golden brassy metal that has a gently aged patination but no bends, dents or other problems to be found. The spring tension clasp and hinges are in solid, sound working order. The interior creamy ivory satin lining is in clean, stable condition, quite nice, showing very wee signs of any usage or age at all. The pocket is secure and maintains it's designer signature. The interior is quite roomy and certainly will carry all of your necessities. This handbag is carried by a fully beaded hand which has only a very, very few beads missing. Stuffed with tissue, this purse measures very generously at 6 & 3/4 in height by 8 in width, the sides and bottom have 2 inches of depth and the handle drops 5 & 1/2 inches. It 's been quite some time since I have acquired one of these elegant French beaded and micro petit point evening handbags, this one is very worthy of your consideration and will shine amongst your treasury of purses.
