The blue beading was of course difficult to capture the correct tone, partly due to the intense iridescence. The cut and faceted glass beads are marvelous and the iridescent cranberry birds (best in photo #4) are great against the blue (best in photo #5 & #6). The bottom of the purse has a nice step down design and the coordinated fringes are fabulous. One fringe is a tad bit shorter, otherwise the purse is in terrific condition, no bead loss or problems. The silver toned frame is lovely with an embossed design that looks like arrow heads. The purse is secure to the frame with a blue bead at each of the frame's sew holes. The interior dark blue silk lining looks quite old but it suffers no damages. The purse measures 5 inches across the frame by 10 in length and will come to you in cleaned condition, sparkling and fresh. These are some of the prettiest iridescent beads I've seen and the Phoenix birds are not very common or easy to acquire. You'll want to consider adding this interesting and curious vintage beaded purse to your collection of treasured handbags.
