The only thing disappointing about this outstanding early and rare micro beaded change purse are my photos. The blue snowflake pinwheel shows fairly accurate but the side with the clear and white beaded background with cornucopias, simply wouldn't show well no matter how I tried. Although antique, it looks much better than shown, second to the last photo is closest. Each side is wonderfully different with over 500 beads per square inch with the centers accentuated in gold metal beads. The satiny blue interior lining seems to have been in there for quite some time but I cannot say if it is the original. Perhaps it was relined during the 40's or 50's when the zipper was likely added, originally it most probably had only a snap closure. Nonetheless, it is a superb treasure and I am positive that there are not many of these in existence today. The beadwork is in marvelous condition with only a couple beads amiss on the blue side and maybe one on the other side but I haven't found it. Measuring 3 & 1/4 inches in diameter, this little antique micro beaded coin purse is a must have for your beaded accessories or add it to your purse collection for character and depth. You won't see another in a long time. Item 6-622 D 145.00 Now $125.00 Place Order via Email Question or Purchase: antiquepeek@comcast.net, I am currently relocating to the mid west.
