This is the one of four vintage petit point
cigarette or card cases that I have recently listed, hand made in Austria around 1940.

The entire top is covered with petit point. The photos show a good representation of color and what you will receive. The colors have depth and include a vast array of tones on a ivory background, a little deeper ivory than what is showing. As you can see, the exotic bouquet of flowers is quite lovely and the stitches are tiny, counting to about 35 - 40 per inch. 
 The backside is securely covered with an ivory faille type fabric, lovely and clean. The little paper label you see in the photo actually belongs inside one of the other cases, sorry I accidentally pictured it with this case. This case comes in the silver tone and is signed on the metal, Austria. The interior is great, lined and pocketed with a light brown shiny fabric, very nice indeed. The pocket will double well for your cards, license and money and there is ample depth to the interior top, you can add a mirror if you desire. This petit point purse case measures 3 & 3/4 in width by 3& 1/4 in height, it will add a sparkle to your treasured vanity accessories.
