Every color is more beautiful than the one next to it and as you can see, there is no lack of tone. I have not enhanced these colors, this really is how it will arrive to you, rich and striking against the jet black background. The bouquet is stunning and covers the greater portion of the compact lid. I believe my photos display the micro petit point very well and all the marvelous colors used. This compact is flawless, in fact, it is unused with a perfectly clear beveled mirror, a clean powder puff and loose screen. It has been properly stored for many a decade and you will simply adore owning it. The interior is wonderful and spotless, as shown. The brassy toned frame is lovely and bright but the exterior has taken on a bit more of a patina, as it should be for it's age. The exterior backside is covered with a black faille fabric and both the front and back panels are set in place with a thin black twisted cord around the outer edge. This 1940's Austrian loose powder compact is perfection, I find not one fault to mention. The clasp opens properly and closes with a solid snap. This compact measures 3⅛ inches square and is a visual delight. I can only imagine that it's next owner will be proud to place it on her vanity or pull it from her favorite purse.
