The scene is that of a couple, dressed in period clothing of the times. The gentleman appears to be assisting his lady to her feet, although she doesn't seem ready to leave. The surrounding nature is so well executed, the entire scene is a stunning creation. It is a delight to be cherished, all hand stitched and in absolutely clean, unused condition. The colors are diverse and quite pleasing to the eye. 
The interior is in excellent condition, unused, showing just a tad bit of aging on the mirror at the outer perimeter edge, really nothing at all to be concerned about. The backside is covered with a black fabric, the gold tone frame is straight and right, the clasp works as it should. Measuring 3 1/4 inches in diameter, this very special hand made petit point compact will add charm and eloquence to your accessories.
