I am showing you lots of photos so you can see for your self what to expect. I hung one of the chandeliers in my living room, so the yellow background is shading the prisms but be assured, they are crystal clear, each one is accounted for and each is well faceted. The chandelier I am showing was hanging over the dining room table, the other was ceiling mounted in the grand foyer but I believe you would have the option of hanging either or both of them. They make quite the presentation with their four graduated cascading layers of prisms, simply gorgeous with the bottoms having an inch and a half crystal ball. There are 12 prisms on the bottom layer, 22 crystals on the second layer, 35 prisms on the third layer and 49 crystals on the top row, fabulous.
The metals appear to be brass plated and they do show age appropriate patina and darkening here and there, although I don't see any real serious wear. I have not attempted to polish the metal and I will not, that will be at the discretion of their new owner, as many would prefer the original aged look. These are three light chandeliers, I have regular light bulbs inside so you can see that quality but clear bulbs would be the better choice and obviously more beneficial to the overall appearance and sparkle.
I am showing the canopies so you can get a feel for their detail. Now for the measurements: starting at the top, the ceiling mounted small canopy is 6 in diameter by nearly 5 in height; the top of the chain to the top of the larger canopy has about a 14 inch drop and I assume that is adjustable to be shorter; the top of the larger canopy to the bottom of the ball has about a 15 inch drop and the large canopy has a 16 inch diameter. The overall drop of this chandelier would be approx. 34 inches. It's matching companion chandelier has both canopies but it only has one link of the chain, this one was ceiling mounted with the large canopy flush to the ceiling, giving it an approx. 15 inch drop. I have had both of these chandeliers lit up so I know they are both in working order. They are in very fine antique condition. I am sure there are a few prisms that are not perfect but they are all original as far as I can tell. If you are not electrically knowledgeable, I expect you may prefer the help of an electrician to hang them. I know these are going to look grand is someone's home, perhaps yours.
