This delicate, yet expressive, ruby glass rhinestone necklace and earring set is put together on what appears to be a rhodium plated backing. The ruby faceted baguettes measure a length of slightly over a ¼ inch each and are set below a row of smaller chaton ruby rhinestones, giving the piece a width of over ⅜ of an inch. All the stones are securely prong set, all appear to be original and are in very fine vintage condition with barely a hint of any aging to any stones, they look marvelous. This set is what I would consider rather light weight, not very heavy, easy to wear and it is unmarked. The neckpiece measures approx 16 inches from end to end and has an adjustable hook style clasp. The clip back earrings are structured with a slight bowed shape and measure ⅞ of an inch long by ½ in wide, they are very attractive. The earring are showing a little too dark in my close-up photo, in person, they will have a brighter tone but match the necklace perfectly. This vintage demi parure ruby rhinestone set is in excellent condition with no apologies to mention. If you are looking for a ruby set, I think this one will make a fabulous addition to your wardrobe accessories, or certainly would be a thoughtful and generous gift.
