Hand made in Austria during the 1920 - 1940 era, comes from the
esteemed and highly respected studios of Maria Stransky,
the Queen of Petit Point and rightly so with unlimited talent,
approx. 55 stitches per inch or over 3000 to the square inch,
these elaborate ultra micro petit points are coveted by collectors,
dual landscapes depict Louis XV intricate figural hunting scenes,
people, horses, dogs, deer, castles, carriage and lush countryside,
unimaginable amount of detail and in extremely fine condition,
professionally and thoroughly cleaned, fresh as the Springtime air,
stunning filigree frame, brass cut to silver and set with marcasites,
original interior with pockets, label and attached change purse,
condition is splendid with small wear and 2 missing marcasites,

Carryall Compact Purse with Figural Scenic Micro Petit Point

From the 1930 - 1940 era comes this outstanding example of
micro petit point, hand stitched with a figural romance scene,
tiny stitch count of approximately 1600 to the square inch,
fully loaded and original interior sports it's lipstick tube,
money purse holds it's celluloid comb, powder well with powder
and feather puff lifts to secret space, pull forward mirror is usable,
brassy case, clasp and slinky chain handle are in very good condition

Charming is the only way to describe this enchanting hand stitched
petit point evening handbag, Oh so very sophisticated indeed,
lush stark Victorian roses are cast on a jet black background,
