The set was acquired with several other hand painted pansy pieces from the same artist, one of the pieces is dated 1920. The Silesia mark shown below was used between 1904 and 1938. The photos are quite clear as to the lovely hand painted artwork of yellow and purple pansies as well as the generous use of gold gilt highlighting. You'll find these pieces to be in wonderful condition, without damage or any other wear. The covered sugar measures 3 1/2+ tall by 6 inches handle to handle, the creamer is proportionate and looks like it will hold an 8 ounce cupful. If you love pansies as I do, you'll enjoy adding these vintage porcelain pretties to your collection or dinnerware accessories.
