These two photos show you the lovely pastel colors and the detailed pattern. The soft snowy white background seed bead is bright and spotless, covering the entire purse. Although the beading is stitched close together, this purse has a very soft hand, giving the bag a very fluid feel. There is a crystal clear glass bead that outlines the flowers, it is a cut and faceted bead that has a sparkling iridescense, a quality that did not show too well in my photos. The colorful pastels include pink, blue, peach and pale green. A smaller version of the pattern is detailed on the backside of the purse. This purse has been professionally cleaned and now carries only a scent of freshness, ready for your enjoyment. The gold tone arched frame is nice and bright but has taken on just a bit of a vintage patina, as expected for a purse of this age and as shown. The frame sports a beaded clasp, in the lift up to open style. The top of the frame is braided with coordinated beadwork on both the front and back sides. In between the two braids is a raised row of twisted white beads, the overall appearance is very appealing. All elements of the frame are secure and in good working order, closing with a gentle snap. This purse has a fully beaded handle. I replaced a few missing beads and I have reinforced it where the beading connects to the frame, everything looks very good. The interior bright ivory satin lining has a single pocket with it's label reading hand made in France. The lining is in extra fine condition, well gathered about the frame and showing little, if any, signs of age or usage. This elegant and striking creation, stuffed with tissue, measures a generous 6½ in height by 8 inches wide, the sides gusset out to 1½ inches and the beaded handle drops the purse by 5 inches. This stylish and well decorated vintage French evening handbag will compliment your next dressy event. The condition is terrific, the colors are divine, snatch it up now while it's available.
