This purse is layered with hand applied snowy white beadwork, which forms a swag design of concentric circles. The pattern is the same on both sides of the purse and my photos show each side accurately. The white glass beads are wonderfully bright and they have gleaming and reflective qualities, with a pearly sheen. Every bead appears to be intact, no rows or beads missing, no snags, flaws, stains or other negatives, the beading is perfect. There were a couple missing beads when I acquired this purse but I have replaced them with matching beads. These snugly stitched beads give this purse a medium firm hand, however, it is not overly stiff to the feel. I have professionally cleaned this purse for you, even though it didn't particularly need it, I thought it would be nice for you to have a newly refreshed purse that I am sure has never been cleaned before. The golden brassy toned frame is the highlight of this purse. Delill did it again with another scrumptious combination of striking beadwork, pearls and porcelain. The beading includes a pale plum lavender, yellow, baby blue, coral peach and glistening gold, all showing well in my photos. The pattern is rather unique and especially pretty, I believe you will be very pleased when you see it up close and personal. The center arena is enhanced with a Limoges porcelain plaque with a Fragonard figural romance scene. The plaque is prong set and encircled with luminous faux pearls. The artwork is quite endearing and adds the perfect touch of romance to this purse. I would expect that any bride would be most pleased with this vintage piece of sheer luxury. The lift up to open clasp is layered in coordinating beadwork and all beading is well attached, as it should be and all structural elements functioning properly. The brassy toned frame seems a little dark in my photos and although the metal has taken on a bit of patina, it looks so much nicer in person, you won't be disappointed. The interior has a quality ivory satin lining with it's Delill stenciled pocket and satin change purse. The pocket was getting loose when I bought this purse, so I re-stitched it securely in place, it's ready for your use. The interior is in extra nice condition and only shows wee minor signs of usage, it's actually nearly pristine, looks basically unused. This handbag carries with a slinky styled chain handle that looks bright and cheerful. Stuffed with tissue, this Delill French beaded and porcelain evening purse measures 4½ inches in height, 9 inches across the bottom, 7 inches across the frame, the gusset is approx. 1¼ in depth and the chain handle drops the purse by 5¼ inches. Although this evening purse seems smaller, the interior is roomy enough and will carry your needed essentials for your special event. This delightful 1930 - 1940 French Delill designer beaded purse has all the charm and romance that a purse can afford. I know you'll love it, please add it to your prized wardrobe accessories today.
