The first photo was taken with overhead lighting and it exposes some of the lovely sparkle on this purse. Although my photos are very good, this purse just seems to look much, much nicer in person. The workmanship is a bit different from many French designer handbags. The small jet black seed beads are beautifully enhanced with a gorgeous and flowing ribbon and bow motif. The ribbon uses a stunning plum purple bead and the bow uses a baby blue bead. The Point de Beauvais stitches create the finishing touches with fabulous Tambour embroidered pink roses. The overall design will round out your wardrobe accessories with a strong fashion statement. All aspects of this purse are intact and exceptionally clean, appears to have not been carried much at all, if it was, it couldn't have been more than once. The coloring and the design are well laid out with no fading, pulls, snags, loss of beads, discolorations or negatives that I can detect. The beading is strong, no weakness or separations. The golden toned frame and clasp have an appealing addition, a layer of braided coordinating bead work . This purse opens and closes properly, lift up the clasp and pull it forward to open the purse. The metal is looking nice and bright, suffering no structural problems. The interior is lined in a quality black satin, it has it's labeled pocket and an Ed B Robinson label, as shown. The interior is very clean and shows no signs of usage or abuse, no stains or other issues to report. The backside of the purse has primarily all black beading with a smaller version of beaded flowers. This fashionable and elegant French designer beaded evening bag measures 4¾ inches in total height, 8 inches across the widest section, 6½ across the frame, the side gusset is 1¼ inches and the slinky styled chain handle drops 4½ inches. This is a bit of a smaller purse but it does seem to have a somewhat roomy interior so it will carry your basic essentials for an evening out. This is an adorable French made purse that will add charm and character to your wardrobe accessories.
