The workmanship is a classic in French precision, the style of beads and the overall design will round out your wardrobe accessories with a strong fashion statement. Metal beaded purses are somewhat of a challenge to photograph, my pictures depict the purse fairly well but you can expect this evening bag to look nicer in person. The colors on this handbag are fabulous and include gold, bright golden tangerine, lavender, hot pink, apple green, pale blue and bright silver, all on a softer silver background. The colors are rich and the design is well laid out with no obvious fading and minimal discoloring. The beading is strong, no losses or separations. The interior lining is a quality deep ivory satin with dual pockets, one having it's French Bag Shop designer label. The lining is basically clean showing very small discolor and no signs of wear or distress. The golden brassy frame and lift to open clasp are a charming addition, sporting faux peals and coordinating beadwork. A small repair was made to the gold beading on the back edge of the frame, the replaced beads are a shade brighter in tone and this is seen in the photo. This repair is not obviously apparent and will go easily unnoticed, I see it upon closer scrutiny and mention for accuracy. The last two photos show the back and front sides, again my photos do not do this purse justice. There are some dark spots of beads but these are exaggerated in my photos. Any beads that have darkened a little on this purse are minimal and not as dark as what is showing. This elegant French evening bag measures 6¼ in height by 8 at it's widest, the frame is 6¼ wide and the snake style chain handle drops about 5 inches. This is a grand French metal and steel beaded purse, I don't acquire many with this radiant color and in so well kept condition, it's a pretty one.
