As you can see the petit point stitches are small and tightly stitched, the bright and cheerful floral display is presented on a black background, not a jet black but rather a softer more subtle black. Both sides of this coin holder are identical and in totally gorgeous condition, no worn stitches or discolorations. My photos represent this vintage treasure fairly well, the tones are crisp and lively. The purse is secure and snug to the brassy toned frame, the clasp closes as it should.
The bright golden tone frame has a nice embossed design, as shown. The outer perimeter is exhibiting a complimentary floral border and all is secured with black piping. The interior is lined with black fabric but my camera would not focus for a good photo. The interior is in clean, well kept condition, as is the entire purse, looking unused. When I acquired this little darling, it was still stuffed with the original old tissue paper. I find no label on this coin purse but many of these were made in Austria. This lovely creation measures 3¼ in height by 5 in width, the outer border is 3/4 of an inch in depth. This vintage petit point change purse is in very fine vintage condition with little signs of aging and no signs of usage. I know you will appreciate this sweet petit point change purse and treasure it for years to come.
